VNH5019 with 24V

He there

I have bought VNH5019 motor drivers and i can’t return them. I saw today that it’s not recommended to use with 24V battery supply because overvoltage protection can kick in. I can’t afford new more drivers. Is there a way to bypass, modify or deactivate this safety feature ti avoid shut down protection under normal 24V battery operation ? My motor is 24V 10 A max linear actuator. If not, is there another affordable solution ?

Thank you

Hello there.

The overvoltage protection typically kicks in at 27V, and while there is a chance it can trigger at voltages as low as 24V, it is not a certainty. So, it is reasonable to give it a try.
