I am setting up a test station to set up motor drivers. I have a UNO with a CNC board that I plug my driver cards into.
I can use the Vref to set the current, but I have not been able to get the motor current method to work. I do not know how to power the motor without steppping.
Can you show a program that doesn’t step the motor?

I am not sure what stepper motor driver you are using, but all you have to do to power the stepper motor is enable the driver. You can check the product page for your driver to find out how to enable it. If you are not sure how to enable your driver using your CNC board, then you might try contacting the manufacturer of that board.
