I’m using a tic t500 and a analog joystick and a nema 17. how do I get it to just move when using the joystick and when it goes back to centre it just stops in position instead of coming back to zero?
When you are using the Tic in analog position control mode, the position will correspond to the analog voltage, so when your joystick returns to the center, the Tic’s position will also return to the center. It sounds like you are describing analog speed control, which would cause the analog signal to control the speed and direction. In analog speed control mode, you can configure it so when the joystick is in the center, the speed will be 0.
