TB67S128FTG - CLK duty cycle (min.)

Hello People of Pololu,

Wondering what the CLK(step) duty cycle minimum may be for theTB67S128FTG?
The driver shall be operating in basic Full step mode with maximum torque. I’ve seen some people coding with a 500ms duty cycle per step, which seems very slow.

Cheers,
Sean

Hello, Sean.

The TB67S128FTG (or any other stepper motor driver we carry) does not have a minimum step frequency. The driver will advance the motor a single step (or microstep) each time the signal on the CLK(STEP) pin transitions from low to high.

Thank you, Brandon.
The stepper motor driver is operating very well, as advertised.

Wondering if there may be a TB67S128FTG ( or something similar ) as a shield for the Arduino…?

Unfortunately, we do not carry any stepper motor driver shields for Arduino. There are some third-party ones that accept our smaller 16-pin form factor driver carriers, but I am not aware of any that support different form factors like the TB67S128FTG carrier.
