Hi!
I want to use stall detection on your TI DRV8434A board. However, from your schematic in Pololu - DRV8434A Stepper Motor Driver Carrier there is no built-in pull-up resistor for the STL_REP pin. Does that mean I have to add a pin header to my board just to add the pull-up required to enable nFAULT stall reporting?
The DRV8434A datasheet states that (table “7-6. Stall Detection Operating Mode”)
If STL_REP > 1.6V, nFAULT goes low when stall is detected
and that (in section “7.3.8.1 nFAULT Pin”)
The STL_REP pin has open-drain output and must be pulled up to a 5 V, 3.3 V or 1.8 V supply
Thanks!
