Steppermotor/Driver combination

A question before i order:
Stepper Motor: Bipolar, 200 Steps/Rev, 57×76mm, 3.2V, 2.8 A/Phase
and
DRV8825 Stepper Motor Driver Carrier works?
How min current must have the power supply, if i have 3 motors?
Is 7A ok?
Excuse me for my terrible english ^^

Hello.

The 2.8A rating of our [#1478 stepper motor][0] is too much for the [DRV8825][1] to handle. You will need a stepper motor driver that can source more current to us with that stepper motor. A 7A power supply might be okay for powering 3 of those stepper motors, but it will depend on the stepper motor drivers you use, your supply voltage, and what you want them to do.

If you want to use the DRV8825 and do not need the full torque of that 2.8A stepper motor, you might consider our [#1477 stepper motor][2] instead. A 7A supply should be fine for controlling 3 of the #1477 motors.

Ok thx.
Which max motor phase-current is suitable for DRV8825 (1.5A continuous)?

We recommend a stepper motor that doesn’t exceed the 1.5A continuous per phase current rating for use with the DRV8825 stepper motor driver carrier.
