There are no faceplate numbers, parts numbers or descriptions.
I want to replace an AC motor size: 30mm x 25mm and gearbox too, size: 35x35. Powered by a wall-wart 24volt@1amp. This motor’s 15mm D-shaft rotates at a final rpm of 6-8. This motor rotates 8 phonograph records at a time in a hot water bath.
The motor is likely under engineered for the commercial setting it is being used in. I would prefer a beefier motor/gearbox (metal not plastic gears). The output shaft must have a 6mm/5.0mm flat on it.
What series motors/gearbox might work? I can 3-d print mounting supports. The duty cycle is 15 minutes on and 10 minutes off.
We do not carry any AC motors, and I do not have any specific recommendations for one like that.
Our 37D Metal Gearmotors have a 6mm D-shaft output (although the flat portion is 5.4mm), so those might be an option, but without more details about the required specifications, I cannot say for sure. Also, please note that if you switch to a brushed DC motor, you would need to change your control electronics too.

Thank you for a quick turnaround reply. I’m not locked to the AC motor. This current config is 24V/1A AC walwart and motor gear train to reduce RPM to around 8. I would prefer a DC motor. But not a stepper or servo. It has to be continuous rotation. Size is for series: 3GB37-520 or equivalent. So I would prefer 24volt and gear train to get speed down, but I’m not opposed to using DC speed controller.
