Solder Connection to Micro Metal Gearboxes

I recently bought a couple of the micro metal gearboxes for a project I have. On the back of the motors are these little tiny terminals that barely extend away from the body, and there is a small hole in them.

I gather a solder connection is the best way. My question is how to people generally solder them. Do you need to buy a wire small enough to fit through the hole, then loop back and twist and solder that?

Any suggestions on the best way to get wires connected to the terminals? What size wire is most suitable?

Thanks

Hello,

You can use 24 AWG solid core wire for those motor connections; the 24 AWG solid wire will fit into the holes on the motor connections and should be soldered like you described.
