This is my first experience with Roboclaw controllers. purchased two 2x15 controllers for a mecanum style wheel project. I hooked up the power to 6s lipo batteries. The RC signal is sent from a Gobilda mecanum mixer from servo city to S1 and S2 on each. I flipped the switch on and one controller let out the smoke, the other didn’t do anything, I checked that all wires were correct polarity. I have 20plus years experience building droids. So I know how a motor controller should be hooked up. No lights, no movement, nothing. I tried hooking them up to my Pc with the software, and neither are recognized. Completely dead!
Not a good first impression.
Anyone have any suggestions?
