RC control of gear motor

I am engaged in project to build a retract system for a quarter scale P-40 aircraft. Input is the standard RC PWM signal with a neutral position being 1.5ms pulse width and the range from 1.0ms to 2.0. The requirements are 350 to 500 RPM with a stall torque of >12 inch/oz. operating on 6VDC. I selected your item #1597 as a test case since it seems to fit most of the requirements.

My question is which of motor controllers can accept the PWM input and drive the motor in the appropriate direction. Additionally I would like to avoid limit switches and use current sensing to terminate the drive as the trunion reaches the limit of its travel. I have read through your material and I am confused as to which products would be appropriate. Since this is an aircraft size and weight are important.
