I was hoping to use the (battery output) VIN connection point to use the input voltage for something, but it does not seem to output any voltage. All my connections are good and everything else works great, am I missing something? Thank you.

With nothing connected to your qik, can you use a multimeter to check for continuity between the large VIN pad and the small VIN (out) pad on the other side of the board? If there is no continuity, I suggest you look at your solder joints to make sure they good, and I suggest you look for any traces that you might have inadvertently burned out by trying to draw too much current from the VIN (out) pin. If you don’t see anything, can you post some close-up, in-focus pictures of your board?
