I’m using a 2999 with a particle argon and am seeing odd behavior for an open circuit motor. The Open circuit state is tripped al the time, even with a good motor. If I open circuit the motor the populous sets the correct states on LO1 and LO2.
Ned some help debugging please. Also what are the thresholds for short circuit motor and over temperature?

Sorry you are having trouble with your TB67H420FTG Dual/Single Motor Driver Carrier. I do not understand what you mean by “If I open circuit the motor the populous sets the correct states on LO1 and LO2”. Could you clarify? Could you post pictures of your setup that show all of your connections? How did you separately test your motor to make sure it is good?
The TB67H420FTG datasheet does not give details on how a motor load open condition is detected, but the thermal shutdown threshold is given in the table on page 17 of the datasheet.
