Pololu 755 driving a capacitive load

I have an application where I’m driving a large capacitive load. I’m getting into a situation where my output (voltage from A to B) is ~0V. My suspicion is that I might be triggering the short circuit protection. My fault indicators and reset lines are disconnected and when I try and probe them with my DMM, I see no fault and no reset and the output begins operating correctly. I’m wondering what triggers the short circuit protection.

Hi.

That driver detects short-circuit faults by measuring the voltage across the FETs. If the voltage across the drain and source is higher than a certain threshold the fault is triggered.

Could you tell me more about your load? What are you using as a supply? What are you using to control the driver and what are you commanding it to do when you seem to lose control?
