I just recieved my M2H18v18 Motor Controller and connected it to my Raspberry Pi 3, My RPi is not detecting it when I use i2cdetect -y 1, and when I try to run any of the sample project I get this error
Update: I think this thing somehow fried the i2c-1 pins on my raspberry pi. it seems to be outputting 3.7v to the SCL pin.

I am sorry to hear you are having trouble with your Motoron controller. Can you post more details about how you are trying to use the motor controller (power supply, motors, etc.) along with some pictures that show your connections, including close-ups of the soldering on both sides of the board?
After getting pictures of your current setup, could you try removing the Motoron from your Raspberry Pi and testing a simple program that drives your SCL pin high and low slowly enough to easily monitor whether it’s working? If that works, do you have any other I2C devices you could test with your Raspberry Pi?
