I found that when I send the motor stop (ff) and then restart to a new position to get it reading again the accerlation goes full speed right off. Is there any way to start up again and restart the acceleration from 0
This is a problem with the jrk’s firmware and unfortunately we have not gotten around to releasing a new version of the firmware yet. However, you should be able to fix it if you upgrade your firmware using the file I have attached below, umc02a_v1.5_rc20121119.pgm. This is a special release-candidate version of the firmware that has not been tested very much yet, so let us know if you see any new problems. To upgrade your firmware, I would recommend following the steps in the “Upgrading Firmware” section of the jrk user’s guide. Also, please note that this file is only for the jrk 12v12 and will not work with the jrk 21v3.
