Is it OK to connect A4988 stepper driver directly to LPT port of PC and make control of stepper motor using Mach3 software.
Are they any known issues??? Also any configuration examples for this setup would be appreciated???

Hello.

Assuming your printer port uses a standard 5V logic, you should be able to connect the A4988 to your PC. However, we do not have any configuration examples for this setup, and we are not familiar with Mach3 software, so we do not know if it would work for your setup.

Adoraria usar meus a4988 e meus drv8825 no mach 3
