Jrk G2 motor controller PID updater period

From the manual:
"During each PID update period (which is 10 ms by default), the Jrk measures the analog voltage on the FBA pin and uses that to set the (raw) “Feedback” variable, which you can see in the Status tab of the Jrk Configuration Utility. "

Is there a way to decrease the PID update period by a factor of 10 or 100? 10ms is way too slow for my application. What sets the update period?

The minimum PID update period you can configure is 1ms. You can configure that in the Pololu Jrk G2 Configuration Utility under the PID tab, and you can find more information about that setting in the “Setting reference” section of the Jrk G2 user’s guide.
