Jrk 21v3 USB Motor Controller can control speed?

Hello,

I need to know if the Jrk 21v3 USB Motor Controller can control speed of a DC motor
in continuos rotation using the PID algorithm?
If yes, how to set up it?

Thanks,

Geraldo Gomes.

Hello, Geraldo.

The jrk controllers can do closed-loop speed control of a brushed DC motor using tachometer feedback (e.g. one wire of a quadrature encoder) with the jrk’s feedback mode set to “Frequency (digital)”. You can find more information about the “Frequency (digital)” feedback in the “Feedback Options” section of the jrk user’s guide, which can be found under the “Resources” tab of the jrk’s product page. The user’s guide also includes additional information about setting up the jrk and configuring it, but if you run into any specific questions, I would be glad to help.
