Input current for Micro Metal Gearmotors

Hello everyone,

I wanted to ask if the graph of current in (https://www.pololu.com/file/0J1487/pololu-micro-metal-gearmotors_rev-5-1.pdf) is the input or the output current. If this is the output current, can I convert it to input using the provided efficiency?

Hello, Paris.

A motor’s input and output current are equal. The efficiency plotted in the datasheet performance curves is the relationship between electrical power input and mechanical power output.
