Hi,
I need to use the DRV8225 as a drop in replacement for the A4988 in the Ramps reprap Arduino shield. Do I need to solder a 10K resistor between FAULT and SLEEP ?

Hello, Tayeb.
For the md20a version of the DRV8825 stepper motor driver, the SLEEP pin needs to be pulled high to drive a stepper motor. An easy way to do this is to add a 10k resistor between the SLEEP and FAULT pins (which is what we did for the newer DRV8825 stepper motor driver carrier). You could also pull it high externally.
