How to get 24V encoder signals from 48 CPR Encoder (encoder Vcc 3.5 – 20 V)?

Hello!

I am interested in using
9.7:1 Metal Gearmotor 25Dx48L mm HP 12V with 48 CPR Encoder

Encoder specification states that encoder Vcc is 3.5 – 20 V

but I need to get 24V encoder signals to PLC.

Can someone suggest a solution for it?

Hello,

You might be able to use something like a logic level shifter to raise the voltage of those encoder signals to 24V. However, we do not carry any that work with 24V. Since those signals are digital, you might check to see if your PLC will recognize a logical high at 20V or below. If so, you might be able to connect the encoder signal directly to your PLC.
