How can I check the torque power of a servo motor?

I am planning to use a servo motor to drive a belt actuator (https://openbuildspartstore.com/v-slot-nema-23-linear-actuator-belt-driven/). Is there any way I can tell if the servo motor I’m looking at (Parallax Feedback? 360°)(https://www.pololu.com/product/3432) has enough power to drive the actuator?

Hello.

If you know how much torque your system will require, you can compare that to the stall torque provided on the product page under the “Specs” tab. A general recommendation is to keep the load to about 30% of the stall torque or less.

If you are not sure how to estimate how much torque you need, this “Force and torque” blog post might be a good place to start.
