Hello I am trying to recreate the single motor RC circuit shown in this User guide (Pololu - 4.3. Connecting an RC Receiver) and I am running into some issues with the motor controller. I recreated the circuit as shown in the IMG image I linked but some some reason, the motor controller’s error LED is flashing and I don’t understand why the circuit doesn’t work. The components I am using for this circuit is receiver from the FS-i6X, 131:1 37Dx57L DC brushed motor, and a G2 18v15 high power motor controller.
Any help or tips is appreciated thank you!!

Hello.
You mentioned that you are using the High-Power Simple Motor Controller G2 18v15, but you linked to the user’s guide for the original Simple Motor Controllers (not the G2 version). If you are using the G2 version (which has a blue board), you should be following the instructions in the “Connecting an RC receiver” section of the Simple Motor Controller G2 User’s Guide.
If you still have problems after following those instructions, could you post some pictures of your setup that show all of your connections (it looks like you tried to attach a picture but it didn’t come through) and post a copy of your Simple Motor Controller G2 settings file? You can save a copy of your settings file from the “File” drop-down menu of the Simple Motor Control Center G2 software while the controller is connected.
