Driving a solenoid

Hi, Does any body see any issues driving a solenoid with one of the motor drivers such as DRV8838.
I am also considering using PWM to drive it. Any suggestions on PWM duty cycle?

Hello.

You could use a brushed DC motor driver like the DRV8838 to drive a solenoid, but a driver is often not needed. Can you tell me more about your solenoid (a link to a datasheet for it would be helpful) and how you plan to use it?
