Does Tic 36v4 retain ustep resolution thru power cycle?

I would be using it without a host in Step & Direction mode, and would need it to always wake up in divide by 256 mode. I don’t see any dipswitch resolution setting. If I set this via USB once, will it remember that at every subsequent power cycle?

Hello.

There are multiple ways to set the step mode, but if you configure it through the Tic Control Center via USB, it will be saved in the Tic’s EEPROM and persist through power cycles until you change it or temporarily override it (e.g. using the “Set step mode” command).
