You do not need a library to use the one of the Pololu High-Power Motor Drivers. You can find information about how to use the motor drivers under the “Motor Control Options” of the product page description.
Many motor drivers have similar interfaces for basic operation, so with some research you might be able to find a compatible library that would make it easier to program your microcontroller.
