i have your DRV8825 driver and 17HS24-2104S stepper motor. whats the current setting for this.

Without special cooling, the DRV8825 driver can deliver at most about 1.5 Amperes per winding.

So, try setting the driver for 1.5A. Reduce if the driver overheats and shuts down.
