Hi,
I have some 50:1 and 100:1 HP micro metal gear motor. After having lots of fun with them it I noticed that the gearbox’s cogs of one of the 50:1 motors got a broken tooth. The cog is the one that is directly attached to the output shaft. I noticed that this cog looks the same for 50:1 and 100:1 motors. Therefore I want to ask two questions:
- Is this cog attached to the output shaft indeed the same in the 50:1 and 100:1 versions?
- If the answer to the above is true: Is there a way to take this intact cog from the 100:1 motor gearbox and install it in the 50:1 gearbox?
Thanks,
Yinon
