i got it working!! it was pwm pin 7 on my arduino is bad. I hooked it up to another arduino mega and the motors worked both ways without a problem. So thanks for all your help, all i need to order now is a new female header for my arduino. :smiley:

I am glad you were able to get it working. Thanks for letting us know. We do carry 1x8 female headers that you might be able to use to repair your Arduino; however, if the pin on the AVR is damaged, replacing the header will not fix the issue.

Thanks for letting me know, and there is power on the part below the arduino so if I think it is just the header I contacted the seller to see that he can do. Well thanks for all the help.
