Can a Pololu A4988 drive two DC motors?

is it at all possible to use this driver to drive two dc motors ( i have 2x a4988 black edition units due to a shipping mishap at the agents.

Hello.

The A4988 is not intended for controlling DC motors, so using it in that way is not really practical. I recommend you use either the DRV8835 or DRV8833.
