3pi+ not powering on

Good afternoon,

I have a 3pi+ that has stopped powering on. When I press the power button, the blue start up light comes on then fades immediately. The green ‘run’ light also flashes briefly. I have measured power at VBAT and am getting about 6.7V, as expected, from the battery pack. When the bot is plugged into usb it turns on just fine.

Hello.

Could you clarify whether you are using the 3pi+ 32U4 or the 3pi+ 2040 and post some pictures of the control board so we can inspect the components? Please try monitoring the voltage on the VSW, VM, 3V3, and 5V pins (only the 32U4 version has a 5V pin) when you try to power the robot with the pushbutton (USB disconnected) and let us know what happens. After that, can you also check what happens on those pins when you try to use the power pushbutton while USB is connected?
