36v4 doesn't support changing decay mode from command line?

Hi, I am trying to change the decay mode via command line, but when I type

ticcmd --decay slow

It returns

“Error: There was an error setting the decay mode. This Tic product does not support the “Set decay mode” command.”

Given that this is the 36v4, Pololu’s highest end tic model, I seriously doubt that it doesn’t support changing decay mode from the command line but I can’t find anything in the documentation about this. Thank you for any help!

Hello.

Unfortunately, the Tic 36v4 firmware does not currently support changing decay mode on-the-fly, but you can change it in the Tic Control Center software directly or by using the --settings option in ticcmd (which loads the specified settings file onto the Tic). You can generate a settings file from the “File” drop-down menu of the Tic Control Center or by using the ticcmd --get-settings option.

Thank you Brandon, I will try this!
