Zumo32u4 full speed direction change OK?

75:1 gearbox. Is it OK to go full speed in a direction to full opposite on a good traction surface? Trying to see if I can get it to hop completely off the ground but don’t want to break it. I’m not really worried about the impact from 10-20mm off the ground but more of the stress on the drive-train/gearbox.

Edit: Decided to just try it. Yes it can switch direction at full speed but never mind. It doesn’t have enough power to even do a wheelie. I guess I was expecting too much. :slight_smile: Next project.

It is generally preferable to avoid full-speed direction changes. If you are interested in moves like wheelies, you might consider our Balboa chassis, which can do a wheelie.
