Zigbee module

Hi!

I am curious if it is possible to develop one’s own Zigbee module, as I am currently working on a Zigbee project.

Honestly, Zigbee is a bit pricey for mass production, so I was wondering if I could create the module ourselves to cut costs.

I want to use a 2.4GHz Zigbee RF module.

I think it’s not going to be an easy task. Becuase Xbee modules were not open source like arduino boards. However, it’s not impossible either. You can get some resources here too: Schematic Modules - EasyEDA

If you consider switching to proteus from easyeda, this may help you a bit.
