Which software for 3pi?

Hello
I have downloaded following installation files.
Do I have to install AvrStudio4.18 or AvrStudio5.0.beta?
Do I have to download any more files?
I don’t want to screw up my computer by installing wrong program.
Could you please suggest me what is the best way to install all programs?

Hello.

It should not really matter what order you install the programs in.

AVRStudio4.18 is what you would use; the beta version does not support AVRISP programming yet.

For the Pololu AVR library, you would follow the installation instructions in the user’s guide.

The names “libpololu-avr-101104” and “pololu_avr_library” should be referring to the same thing.

Do you have the Pololu USB AVR Programmer product number 1300? If so, that sounds like the right files to be installing for it. (Note that we have two different programmers with different drivers; the other one is called the Orangutan USB Programmer.)

Sorry I forgot to ask yo about WinAvr. Do I have to install WinAvr as well?
This must be the compiler for the software. Do I have to install both programs?
