Using a 20D motor in a waterproof housing

Using 20 D gear, motors in underwater housing

I need to put a 20D gear motor into a waterproof housing. This requires putting a seal around the shaft where it exits the waterproof housing. Obviously the shaft has to be circular for the seal. Do you have D shafts that have a longer circular section close to the motor that would be good for this application?

Hello.

Unfortunately, we do not have any 20D gearmotors output shafts that have a longer circular section before the flat. You might consider using either a shaft coupler, gears, chains/sprockets, or belts/pulleys within your housing to transfer the power to another shaft where you can use an appropriate shaft seal.
