Hi,

I recently bought a pololu usb avr programmer, but I cannot get the configuration software to connect to the programmer.

  • I’m running windows 10 home edition
  • I have downloaded and installed the drivers and configuration utility
  • The device is discovered and seems to be fine when checking the device manager
  • No other programs are connected to the programmer

However, when running the configuration utility, I get the following message: “No Pololu USB AVR Programmer was detected. Please verify that the programmer is connected and installed”

Does anyone have any input on what more I might do to get this up and running?

Hello.

Can you post the link you used to download and install the software and drivers for the USB AVR Programmer v2.1? Can you post screenshots of the configuration utility showing the error message and your Device Manager with the “Ports (COM & LPT)” and “Pololu USB Devices” entries expanded?

I uninstalled and then once again installed the software, and now it seems to be working just fine. Thanks again for the quick response tough!
