Two wire, one way SPI?

If I’m using the SPI protocol to send data only one way (master to slave) is there any good reason to connect the MISO line? Both devices are AVR’s and I’m using the actual serial hardware.

I can’t think of any reason why you’d need to connect the MISO line.
