A few days ago I’ve completed the very minimum of what is to be a robot platform prototype.
After I’ve wasted months trying to make a RC truck work as a robot platform, I’ve decided to build everything from scratch, and improvise on my own.

Basically I’m relying on two strong gear motors to the hard part.More technical details on my blog:

This is just a platform but I’ll add more stuff once it works according to my needs: sensors, a brain, etc.
