I cannot see the 3pi+ on my machine. I plugged it in using a working usb-usb C cable, and the 3pi+ gets power but it doesn’t appear on my machine and the “new device” sfx does not play on my laptop.
Is there any fix for this problem or is my 3pi+ broken? It’s brand new I just got it.
It looks like we were just using bad USB-C cables actually. Tried a Xiaomi power brick USB-C/USB charging cable and its working. Never mind

I am glad you were able to find the problem and get your 3pi+ robot working; thank you for letting us know.
By the way, some USB cables are only intended for charging and are missing the extra connections required for communication. So, your other USB cable might be fine, but just not intended for data communication.
