Temperature range for the "Mini Maestro 12-Channel USB Servo Controller"

What temperature range does the Mini Maestro 12-Channel USB Servo Controller operate at?

Hello.

I moved your post to the “Servo controllers and servos” category since it seems more appropriate for your question.

We do not have an operating temperature range specification for the Maestro controllers, but if you tell me what temperature range you are planning to use the Maestro in and how you want to use it, I can probably let you know if that sounds reasonable.

Hey Brandon, so it is being used with a joint student project with Florida
tech. Institute. It is s component used on a sub scale, student designed
James Webb telescope, we are ridding up on a balloon launch to the edge of
space. The component will be in a thermo enclosure with the rest of the
electronic components, I was just looking for a rough range so I could
figure out the weak link and design the thermal enclosure to maintain
enough heat but still be efficient. As of now my weakest link can
only operate down to -10 deg C. Do you think it will be able to withstand
that?

Thanks
Austin

The Maestro should work fine down to -10C.

By the way, that sounds like a really fun project! When you are finished, you might consider sharing the results in the “Share your projects” section of the forum.

Thank you Brandon,

Will definitely look into it!

Thank you again,
