I’m considering buying this part and realized it is labeled as a Motor Driver Carrier and was wandering if that meant that in order for it to be used you had to buy the controller/IC chip separably.
Are there any other arts that i need to get it working i have an Arduino, breadboard and set of motors currently

Hello.

The TB6612FNG Dual Motor Driver Carrier comes with the TB6612FNG chip installed on the board, as pictured on the product page. You do not need to buy it separately.

Thanks im trying to make a robot using an RC car and im now working on looking at how to hook up a wixel without the shield if you have any ideas i already started another thread under wixel
