I know in theory a stencil should be reusable, but after being smeared with solder paste? I need to make about 6 copies of my prototype board, and probably not all at once.

Yes, our mylar stencils are generally reusable; just be sure to clean them off well with something like rubbing alcohol and cloth rag or paper towel after each use.
