Soldering tips for 2809 and 2812 Pushbutton Power Swtich and Reverse Voltage Protection Boards

Hello! I am using the 2809 and 2812 power boards to power a battery system. The battery specs are as follows: the 2809 is paired with an 11.1V 2amp battery and the 2812 is paired with a 11.1 5amp battery.

I am running into issues with these boards where the power does not turn off. I want to use a magnetic reed switch to turn the boards on and off, but I have issues with the push button before I get to the step where I add the magnetic reed. I have been told the soldering iron I use may be blowing the mosfets on the board. Attached are pictures of the board set up on the circuit. I use a regular 110V 60 Watt at 697 to 710 degrees with liquid flux, rosin core solder, and a 1/8 inch chisel tip.

My question is, what am I doing wrong?

Can you post some close-up pictures of both sides of your board so I can inspect the components and your soldering? Also,please provide details about what you are using the switch to power. If you have not already, can you try testing the pushbutton switch with nothing connected to VOUT?
