S7V8F3 and S7V8F5 SHDN pin to RC Switch with Digital Output

I have some sensors that I don’t want to draw battery power on an RC setup until I trigger them from an RC Digital switch. I’m using an S7V8F3 and an S7V8F5 for sensor power and want to connect the SHDN pin to the OUT pin on the Digital switch. Should I be using a resistor to connect them? I understand there’s a 100K pull-up resistor on the SHDN pins of the voltage regulators, but I’m very inexperienced and would hate to fry a regulator out of ignorance.

Placing a resistor between the OUT pin on the RC switch and SHDN pin on the regulator is not necessary; it should be fine to connect those pins directly.
