RTC to Pushbutton Power

Hiya,

I’m looking at connecting the active low alarm output of a DS3234 RTC chip in parallel with a pushbutton switch to a Pushbutton power switch SV module. I am wondering if I can use a small PNP transistor to trigger than latch.

I’m waiting on the postman for parts atm, so I haven’t had a chance to have a close look at the switch module, or playing around to see if I can get this to work.

Hello.

A transistor will probably not work. Although it might be ugly, you might be able to use a relay with your RTC chip to switch on and off the Pushbutton Power Switch.
