Robomaticon 2015 - Mobile Robots Tournament in Warsaw,Poland

Are you fond of making robots? Have you ever thought of putting your skills to the test in a competition? Or maybe you need a motivation to construct a new machine? Robomaticon is what you have been looking for!

Scientific Association of Warsaw University of Technology Robomatic has the honour of inviting you to Mobile Robots Tournament Robomaticon, the biggest and best Robotic Tournament in Poland! The 5th edition will take place on 7 March 2015 and will be held in the main building of Warsaw University of Technology.
If you feel like taking part in the rivalry, don’t hesitate and pick up something for yourself – for this year’s edition we have prepared as many as 13 different competitions!

Competitions:

Line Follower – a robot, following the black line, has to cover the outlined route in the shortest possible time.

MicroMouse – a robotic mouse needs to find the exit from the labyrinth as quickly as possible.

Sumo, miniSumo and nanoSumo
– robots fight in a ring

Freestyle – free constructions; creativity, original idea and workmanship are what counts in this competition.

Puck Collect – two robots struggle on the board in order to gain the pucks.

Line Follower Enhanced
– as in the Line Follower, a robot needs to confront obstacles appearing along the way while covering the route marked with a black line.

microSumo
– another Sumo weight group.

Humanoid Sprint – humanoid robot race.

Humanoid Sumo – humanoid robots’ sumo tournament

DeathRace
– a robot is to run a few laps on the outlined route fighting with other robots in the shortest possible time

The rules of all the competitions are available on our websites. As in previous editions, all winners will be awarded with attractive prizes.

We will be delighted to welcome spectators wishing to watch the robotic struggles in the Main Building – come in huge numbers! Apart from full of excitement robotic competitions we will provide workshops for the youngest fans, as well as stands for our partners and sponsors. We also offer help with accomodation for our foreign participants.
