Redundant drone FC with Servo Multiplexer


i would like to build a drone with multiple flight controller (FC). is it possible to use the RC Servo Multiplexer and connect the ESC to it i.e. both FCs will be connected as input to the Multiplexer and ESC to the output.

i will have a Raspberry connected to both FCs to check its status and connected to the SEL line to determined the master FC


What you described sounds like a typical use for the RC servo multiplexer. So, I do not see anything obviously wrong with your proposed setup.


thanks, is there any plan to have one with 8 channels.

We currently have no plans to make an RC mux with more channels than the #2806. However, for your application you should just be able to use two of them.
