Hi there, Tic controller can have a set limit for input current. Just wondering if it is possible for the board to output the actual current value or if the current limit has been reached.

It sounds like you might be confused about the current limit on the Tic. The configurable current limit is for the current through each coil (i.e. it limits the output, not the input). The current through the coil at any given moment will depend on the microstepping mode you are using and the current step index the driver is on. For the Tic 36v4, you can refer to the “Step Directions” table on page 16 of the DRV8711 driver’s datasheet for more details.
