I have a small 12v 1 channel wireless RF remote control switch transmitter+receiver connected to a battery and a small 9-18vdc motor.When I press the button on the transmitter the motor starts but it only runs as long as I hold the button down. As soon as the button is released the motor stops.what can I do to make the motor continue running after I press and release the button and not stop until I press and release the button a second time.I dont know electronics obviously.I just have a project that I need these things to work together in this way.I will appreciate any helpful suggestions.

If you can easily replace the button on your transmitter, you might try replacing it with a toggle switch or a “push on-push off” switch.
If you tell us more about your setup, I might be able to give better recommendations.
